Somaliland in Yasni Exposé of Hamdi Abdulahi

Hamdi Abdulahi is currently working with UN-Habitat Joint Programme for Local Governanace and Decentralized Service Delivery in Somaliland. The initiative aims to empower local governments to improve service delivery and strengthen civic awareness and participation in decision making. Prior to this role, Hamdi worked with Mercy Crops a Project Officer for a programme promoting peace and reconciliation, as well as an Assistant Director to establish community awareness campaigns for human rights. Hamdi is also the founder and on the board of directors for the Center for Dialogue, Civic Education and Human Rights, an organization that promotes the human right educations in Somaliland. Hamdi completed his LLB at Hargeisa University, and is currently pursuing post-graduate studies
